Our chief engineer, Derrick (OK, he's our only engineer but hey...  is fond of asking parents whether they want their children to grow up to put together IKEA furniture or to design incredible things. Most of the parents go for the latter, although some would be happy if their kids could eventually help THEM put together some IKEA furniture, not to mention the many grandparents who count on their toddler grandchildren to help them with their smartphones. Anyway.... we've curated a lot of building, contruction, and STEAM products to help foster curiosity and creativity.
